One of the best nights of the year is just around the corner; the 1st Dapto Scout Group Family Dinner!
This is a once a year event, and a chance to bring our scouting families together for a pot-luck dinner as we hear what our Scouting kids have been upto, as well as what the broader group is working towards throughout 2024.
This is a terrific social evening, and a fantastic opportunity to meet other parents in our group, share stories, ask questions, meet your kids leaders and truely give input to the operation of the group.
We’ll also be ticking off a few quick logistical items for the committee such as ensuring roles are filled for 2024-2025.
One item of upmost importance will be electing a new Treasurer as we honour and release our current serving Treasurer from the role. We encourage any parent (new to the group or long present!) to consider taking up this role for the group – and we can ensure that there’s a season of guidance to bring you up to familiarity with the role. It’s an important role for the group and we truly do ask that each parent consider the possibility of giving it a go!
